SOUTH FULTON LIONS BASKETBALL CLUB 2012 - 2013 The South Fulton community has a rich history and tradition of winners. In this, our FIFTH season, our club wants all 9 year old 3rd grade to 13 year old 7th grade boys to join us in restoring that tradition. The Philosophy Our philosophy of the South Fulton Lions Basketball Club program is a commitment to teach the elements of the game of basketball itself for young student-athletes in our community (we will add girl clubs in the future) who have a desire to compete at a high level of AAU basketball competition. Our program and all of our coaches are committed to providing an opportunity for players to expand their skill...their knowledge…and their love for the game of basketball…in an environment of positive reinforcement that teaches about respect, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, commitment and hard work. The South Fulton Lions program also stresses the need for strong academics to achieve the true standing of a successful student-athlete. The Mission We offer a program, which will develop and improve individual as well as team skills, promote good sportsmanship, team spirit, and encourage club loyalty. The club demands a high degree of ethical conduct by all its coaches, players, volunteers, and parents so that it provides a good example for the community, opponents, and its participants, thus helping their growth to adulthood. By accomplishing these goals, the South Fulton Lions will provide our players with additional exposure to the game of basketball thereby enhancing their opportunity to play at the junior high and high school level or beyond.
